    DEDHAM - The lawyer for a Polish national facing animal cruelty charges in Quincy is questioning the reliability of DNA evidence linking the man to a dog known as Puppy Doe that was found near death on a Quincy Street more than three years ago. Larry Tipton, the public defender representing Radoslaw Czerkawski, 35, argued in a motion filed this summer that the DNA testing method used by a California lab to match blood stains from Czerkawski's home with samples taken from Puppy Doe is based on new science and has not had its reliability established in court.
