    A man suffering dementia, who is accused of beating his elderly roommate to death inside their assisted living facility, was indicted yesterday for the slaying, prosecutors said. Walter Rice, 58, will be arraigned on a first-degree murder charge in Norfolk Superior Court in Dedham at a future date, according to Norfolk County District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey.
