    Friends of Decorah's Mike Blevins are putting together a musical benefit more of a "revue" than a concert, it's intended as a come-and-go event, with performances by some of the most popular musicians in the area to raise money to help Mike with expenses related to a stroke he suffered July 23. The stroke caused left side paralysis, for which he has recently begun rehabilitation in the Mercy Acute Rehabilitation Unit at Mercy Medical Center in Mason City. The fundraising event is Friday, Aug. 17, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the Lingonberry in downtown Decorah.
