    A windchill advisory remains in effect for Adams County residents until noon today as wind chill temperatures are expected to plummet to around minus 20 degrees. The official mercury reading at 7 a.m. today from the Decatur wastewater treatment plant stood at 2 degrees F. The National Weather Service advised bitterly cold wind chills are expected and can cause frostbite to exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
