    The La Salle County Recorder's Office received an unexpected bill of more than $100,000 last month, an amount of money not in this year's budget, officials said Wednesday. Last June, then-Recorder Tom Lyons struck a $145,000 deal with Davenport, Iowa-based Fidlar Technologies to scan the office's documents from 1834 to 1964 for an indexing system.
