This is the first time since Prohibition that a new population of licenses exceeding the existing quota has been made available in Pennsylvania.

    Police say fingerprints have linked Joshua Ironlee Perry, 30, of Columbia with the robberies of Rite Aid stores in Middletown, Dauphin County and Stewartstown, York County, in addition to the July 14th robbery of the Rite Aid at 1786 Columbia Avenue in West Hempfield Township, Lancaster County. West Hempfield Township Police were able to identify Perry after submitting his fingerprints on August 4th to the Pennsylvania State Police Harrisburg Regional Laboratory for analysis.

    Over the past three months, police officers in Dauphin County reported 14 "reversals" or "saves" of individuals who had overdosed on heroin or other opioids by administering the drug, Naloxone. District Attorney Ed Marsico praised the work of the police officers, "our officers have embraced the Naloxone program and their quick reactions have saved 14 people since April 1st."

    The National Weather Service in State College has issued a "Flood Advisory" for East Central Adams County, Southern Lebanon County, Western York County, Southeastern Dauphin and Northwestern Lancaster County until 6:30 p.m. At 4:25 p.m., Doppler Radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Rainfall over the past hour or so has totaled nearly 2 inches in some locations near the Harrisburg Metro area; similar amounts are expected across locations just to the south and east of Harrisburg.

Ashley Watts, 30, is accused of intimidating two girls, ages 12 and 13, in order to protect her husband, Timothy Marlin Watts, who was arrested in May and charged with raping and sexually assaulting the victims over a two year time period.

    Harrisburg man has plead guilty before United States District Court Judge Sylvia H. Rambo in Harrisburg to committing 14 bank robberies in four counties. Andre Mosley, age 48, plead guilty to robbing financial institutions in Dauphin, Cumberland, Franklin and York Counties between late 2014 and February 2015.
