    The quick actions of a resident led to the arrest Wednesday morning of a Walnut Creek man who had broken into her home and was caught holding stolen items in his hand, police said Police identified the suspect as 27-year-old Saleem Jaser. He was arrested on suspicion of burglary, robbery, child endangerment, trespassing, grand theft, possession of stolen property and prowling.
