    A state appeals court on Tuesday appeared favorable to upholding at least part of a ruling that last year halted a controversial residential development in Danville after neighbors contended the project violated the town's zoning ordinances and would endanger bicyclists. The justices, Jim Humes, Sandra Margulies and Robert Dondero, were quizzical of arguments made by the town's attorney and a lawyer for the developer, who said that Danville had adequately considered bicyclist safety when approving the 69-home project in 2012.
