Former Danville police officer Timothy Spears, 31, and former Yell County Sheriff's deputy Michael Spears, 33, were each charged with second-degree battery in connection with the March 2014 altercation with a boy that resulted in a severe fracture of his upper arm at the Yell County Detention Center.
