    The Dansville Central School District announced recently that the Board of Education plans to accept the resignation of High School principal Michael Falzoi effective Aug. 31.  Mr. Falzoi served as principal for 7 years. Prior to his appointment as principal, Mr. Falzoi served as an assistant principal and as a social studies teacher in Dansville.

    Parole escapee Richard “Boo” Henry is sitting in the Livingston County Jail with no possibility of parole after a search which lasted a few weeks.  Henry, who escaped from deputies last Friday while in handcuffs, was recaptured Wednesday in the woods off of Harpers Ferry Road in the Town of Springwater.

    Valley Fuel donated over $3,000 to the Bath VA Medical Center as part of their penny per gallon fundraiser on the veteran's truck.  “Larry Gnau started all of this,” he said. “It was his truck, his idea, his concept, and we are carrying on tradition.”  Every penny per gallon on the veteran's truck was donated to the Bath VA Medical Center this year.

Sheriff's Investigator Dan Rittenhouse was in Dansville to locate and arrest McLoud.
