    Not yet two years old, the locally owned Nuevo Modern Mexican & Tequila Bar in downtown Akron will open a second location this summer - to a new building in a planned lakefront development in downtown Cleveland. "We've already broken ground on the building... We hope to be complete for the RNC [Republican National Convention] on July 17" in Cleveland, said Dick Pace, owner of Cumberland Development of Cleveland.

Home Rule would give New Cumberland more discretion in pursuing alternative sources of revenue-in this case, a 1 percent municipal sales tax coupled with a decrease in the business and occupation tax-at a time when once-reliable sources are declining.
