    Miscommunication between a caller and a Gaston County 911 operator may have contributed to a fatal wreck on I-85 early Sunday that the Highway Patrol blames on black ice. A Lincoln County man reported a surprising patch of ice on I-85 at 1:33 a.m. Sunday, less than an hour before a fatal wreck in the same area that killed 33-year-old Berhane Gebretsadik, of Gastonia.
