    U.S. 27 is shut down near the AA Highway in Alexandria and a manhunt is underway for a suspect Tuesday morning. Authorities say they are searching for the male driver who led several police agencies on a chase that ended in a crash on U.S. 27 at Low Gap Road about 5:40 a.m. "Please use AA Hwy to bypass the area around US 27 & Low Gap Rd. Use caution however, as police are looking for a suspect who fled on foot," Alexandria police said in a news release.
