Greater Cincinnati residents are being asked to donate new and gently used winter coats at drop-off locations across the Tri-State. Last year, St. Vincent de Paul distributed 2,600 coats to its neighbors in need, and this year aims to provide 3,000 neighbors with coats.

The program's mobile unit, provided by the Kentucky Fire Commission, will be parked at St. Elizabeth locations in Newport and Covington on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The program will provide sterile equipment in exchange for used equipment, naloxone overdose reversal kits, rapid HIV tests and referrals for other health care services including substance abuse treatment.

The two-way on Monmouth Street, between 3rd and 4th Street will revert back to a one-way on Tuesday, Dec. 19. Motorists traveling on 4th Street westbound will turn left at the light onto Central Avenue for one block then turn right on 5th Street to enter the new roundabout and continue on KY 8 into Covington.
