    After two hours discussing the water supply dilemma, Jerome Town Council unanimously voted to ease some water restrictions July 12 after Fire Chief Rusty Blair reported that the town's water storage tanks have refilled. A water emergency was proclaimed June 22 when the town's water tanks - - which are spring-fed and normally refill overnight - - dropped to half-full and continued to drop at a rate of six inches a day.

Buddha statues as well as Christian statues, stone and carved and cast statues, and other lawn decor items were destroyed, McMahon said by a vandal who pushed over the quarter- to half-ton stone and rock sculptures each worth from several-hundred dollars to several-thousand dollars.
