    In watching the Chief Fanning's hour-long review of the incident video, I repeatedly saw officers use the least amount of force necessary in response to unrelenting, brutal assaults. Even after Officer Daniels had been shot, all of the officers tried other means to subdue and disarm the suspects.

Due to the depression, Roger and his parents traveled back and forth from Tulsa to Los Angeles, California and Galveston, Texas ultimately returning to Los Angeles.

    I have watched ADOT during the construction of Highway 179 to Sedona, Hwy 260 Bypass around Camp Verde, the initial part of the Hwy 260 widening project and the I-17 widening project and cannot for the sake of me figure out what they were doing or thinking. Hwy 179 was supposed to be four lanes all the way to Sedona, But now it is a mess.

    Cottonwood City Hall has received several calls from citizens complaining about the number of panhandlers around the city, particularly around local shopping areas. The Verde Independent conducted a survey about whether people felt there was too much panhandling in Cottonwood and 91 percent of the respondents agreed there was too much panhandling.

    I see by the online poll in the Verde Independent that 80 percent responding do not like the idea of the seven roundabouts on Hwy. 260 between Cottonwood and Camp Verde.
