    COLUMBUS Ohio Department of Insurance Director Jillian Froment joined five major Ohio health care insurers to announce that health insurance options have been restored on the federal exchange in 19 Ohio counties following the withdrawal of other insurers earlier this year. Buckeye Health Plan, CareSource, Medical Mutual of Ohio, Molina Health Care of Ohio and Paramount Health Care are helping ensure coverage is available in these counties on the exchange in 2018.

    Two Cambridge-area officials formally voiced their support for legislation that would direct increased funding from oil and gas taxes to local governments to pay for road and other improvements. Guernsey County Engineer Paul Sherry and Commissioner Dave Wilson said in testimony to the Ohio House's Ways and Means Committee that House Bill 105 would provide needed funding for the communities most affected by eastern Ohio's shale oilfields.
