    Kenneth Hamilton of Corinth will give a costumed and illustrated presentation on "The French Connection: Wabanaki Late 17th Century Historical Culture" at the Union Historical Society's meeting at the Old Town House, Town House Road, Aug. 3 at 7:30 p.m. Dressed as an Eastern Woodlands Indian circa 1690, he will explain how the introduction of European technologies, the disruption of wars and the demand for natural resources changed the Native American way of life. "The natives won battles but lost the war," he said.
