    Officials continue to investigate an early morning fire May 21 at a local hotel that claimed a Missouri woman's life and left her brother seriously injured. According to the Summit County Medical Examiner's office, hotel guest Heather Scott, 41, of House Springs, Missouri, died at the scene of the fire at the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham at 120 Montrose West Ave. According to the Copley Township Fire Department, another hotel guest, a male, was taken to Akron Children's Hospital's burn unit with serious burns.
