    Twenty-two bright shiny brass doorknobs, two remodeled bathrooms, two totally redone bedrooms, a freshly-painted hallway and the beginning of work on a home office! That's what I keep thinking about as I try to keep the disaster of my flooded home and what that will mean to me and my husband for years to come. So far we are as comfortable as people displaced from their own home can be, thanks to church friends, so I just put the whole issue out of my head waiting for the water to go down, until I actually had to face the damage done to the house we've lived in for more than 38 years now.
