According to a JCSO press release, investigators observed Bruce conducting drug transactions in the Commerce area and made the arrest.

    A house fire at 42 Nunn Street in Commerce on the night of Tuesday, Jan. 6, displaced one family, but there were no injuries, according to a Jackson County Emergency Services report. The family was home at the time of the fire, which happened at 10:30 p.m. Firefighters from Commerce, Nicholson and the Jackson County Correctional Institute got to the scene to find 50 percent of the home was already on fire, the report states.
