    A former Commerce City police officer who said he was shot during a traffic stop has pleaded not guilty to false reporting and trying to influence a public servant. The Denver Post reports 51-year-old Kevin Lord entered his plea Monday and is set to go to trial July 18. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation linked a bullet recovered from Lord's ballistic vest, as well as a shell casing, to a .40-caliber gun the officer had when he was shot Nov. 8. Lord, who has resigned, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries after the incident, in which he is now accused of shooting himself.
