    Vandalism. Corry-based State Police are investigating an incident in which someone damaged a West Main Street, Columbus residence and a white Ford F-150 that was parked there between midnight and 7:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13. According to police, someone broke the front driver side window of the Ford and a window of the house.

    A Corry man sent to state prison for pointing a gun in a man's face and pulling the trigger had a request for reconsideration of his sentence denied on Friday. He pled guilty to aggravated assault and theft in November and, in exchange, charges including criminal attempt were not prosecuted.

Barstow, 40, of Corry, faced charges including two counts of criminal attempt , two counts of aggravated assault, simple assault, two counts of recklessly endangering another person, harassment, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
