The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning and a Coastal Flood Warning for portions of southeastern North Carolina. FLASH FLOOD WARNING: The Flash Flood Warning officially includes Brunswick, southern Columbus, and southern New Hanover Counties and will remain effective until 7 p.m. Several inches of rain are possible on already saturated ground. Another Flood Warning is in effect for western Pender, all of Columbus and Brunswick, and southern Bladen counties until 12:15 a.m. Cities and towns in the warning include but are not limited to: Whiteville, Tabor City, Oaks Island, Sunset Beach, Calabash, Fair Bluff and Elizabethtown.
