    If I had to rank my feelings about Colorado Springs being listed as one of the rudest cities in America , on a 1-to-10 scale with 10 the most upset ... well, I would be a 10. When the story came out last week about Travel & Leisure's dubious list, it just reminded me that most surveys are just guesswork disguised as scientific measurement. I don't know Travel & Leisure's methodology, but I know that in nine months living here, I have not encountered a single instance of rudeness.

    Fire lines are being "constructed and improved from Hayden Pass around the fire to Lake Creek," according to an update from the Rocky Mountain Incident Management Team. There are 768 firefighters working to combat the fire, an increase from Friday, when roughly 645 firefighters - an additional 200 more than Thursday - seven helicopters "and maybe some fixed-wing 'loaner' aircraft" tackled the fire, a tweet said.
