    Strohl, formerly of Harrisburg, died April 2 at the Church of God Home in Carlisle, after a year and a half of challenging health issues because of an accident, Strohl was an Eagle Scout with three palms. He was a member of the executive board of the Boy Scouts of America, Keystone Area Council and served as chairman of many committees.

    Susquehanna Township police are asking for the public's help in identifying men involved in an armed robbery outside of an area bank last month. Two men approached people in a car and displayed a handgun at about 9:45 a.m. on Dec. 21 at the Fulton Bank in the 3800 block of Union Deposit Road, according to a Friday news release from township police.

    A final review of Lower Paxton Township's 2015 general fund budget is scheduled for a supervisors' workshop at 6 p.m. tonight - Tuesday, November 25 - in the Lower Paxton Township Municipal Center, 425 Prince Street. Supervisors plan to vote on the spending plan December 16. The draft version of the $21.4 million budget calls for a property tax increase of .4 mills, to 1.7 mills.
