The ban kicks in Tuesday at Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California, along with other Disney-run theme parks in the U.S. The ban goes into effect at Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland on July 1. This is an expansion of Disney's ban on taking selfie sticks on its rides, like the Magic Kingdom's Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Space Mountain.

Goldenvoice CEO Skip Paige sent a letter to CVAG Executive Director Tom Kirk stating the company believes there are opportunities to monetize aspects of the CV Link that would allow them to operate and maintain the CV Link with no public subsidy required.

    An 18-year-old man has been arrested for assault with a deadly weapon in connection to a shooting that took place in Coachella on April 17, and a 20-year-old man was also taken into custody for possession of cocaine while authorities were serving a search warrant. The Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force served three gang-related search warrants in Coachella on Tuesday, May 12. Three separate residences were searched; one in the 84-200 block of Redondo Sur, another in the 84-600 block of Las Lunas, and the last in the 84600 block of Romero Street, according to the sheriff's department.
