Williamson attempted to make a traffic stop on Franklin near the intersection of State Route 658 and 501 in the Cluster Springs community around 10:23 p.m. Franklin refused to stop and a chase ensued, with Franklin running some 100 mph with Williamson and several other law enforcement officers in pursuit.
