    The Spring Antiques Festival in Downtown Clinton started with a kickoff party on Friday and continues with 100 vendors and much more on Saturday from 9 to 5. Before TVA built Norris Dam back in the 1930's, Clinton, TN was known as the "marketplace of pearls." The freshwater mussels in the Clinch River produced pearls were sought after by people all over the country.

    Sterling Ministries, an evangelistic ministry here in Clinton, Tennessee, announced today that Volume 2 of the Side-By-Side, Verse-By-Verse, Comparison Study, of the King James Version and fifteen other English translations of the Holy Bible, presented in a parallel Bible format, and available only as a pdf file, has been completed. Volume 2 is the third of three volumes completed to date followed by Volume 1 The Torah, and Volume 6 The Gospels, and work on finalizing Volume 4 the Major Prophets is well under way.

A very large number of alleged 'errors; in the King James Bible can be explained simply by using Strong's to determine not only the various meanings of Hebrew and Greek words, but their variant renderings as well in exactly which verses.

James, President of The Lay School, a facet of Sterling Ministries, here in Clinton, Tennessee, offered some further insight into some of the discoveries made during the quality check work just completed on Volume 2 of the Side-By-Side, Verse-By-Verse, Comparison Study of the Bible and fifteen other English translations/versions: "The sixteen translations/versions utilized in this study include: of the most ancient copies extant, the Tanakh , the Greek Septuagint, the Syriac Peshito, the Masoretic text, and the Latin Vulgate . In other words, the Hebrew, the Greek, the Latin, and the Syriac are all represented in this study! Just comparing those side-by-side, verse-by-verse, would be a major undertaking in and of itself.

They include: The Wycliffe Bible was the idea of one man, John Wycliffe, and was completed 1382-1395 A.D., but historians assert that there is good evidence that he had close associates who helped in the work.

Or would it suffice to point out that there are 29 Old Testament references in the King James Version which translate the Hebrew words yam suph as the Red Sea, and while most of them refer to the event during the Exodus, two notable ones, in particular, offer some very interesting information as to the true meaning intended by the words yam suph.
