    According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Westmoreland man was ticketed and a Clinton man was arrested after they were involved in a two-car personal injury motor vehicle accident in the Town of Westmoreland on June 29, 2016 at 10:40 p.m. The accident occurred when Brian Smith, 33, of Westmoreland, drove a rented 2011 Budget moving van westerly on Skinner Road, but crossed the center line and went into the eastbound lane where he stopped next to his mailbox to retrieve his mail. A second vehicle, a 2004 Honda Accord that was being driven easterly on Skinner Road by Vikranth Potluri, 28, of Clinton, then collided with the front of Smith's vehicle head-on.
