Jay Guillermo, the Tigers' 6-3, 325-pound senior center, suffered a concussion during a preseason practice. Total number of football concussions at South Carolina, Clemson, The Citadel and Coastal Carolina for the 2013, 2014 and 2015 seasons, obtained by The Post and Courier via the Freedom of Information Act : Clemson trainer Danny Poole and a team doctor met with Guillermo three times a day for a week before he was allowed to commence slamming his head into defensive linemen again.
