According to detectives assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit, the theft occurred Oct. 8 between the hours of 1:30 and 5 p.m. The credit cards were taken from a vehicle that was parked off Causeway Boulevard in Dunedin.

    Narcotics detectives arrested a Tampa doctor at her Clearwater clinic Dec. 1 for allegedly obtaining prescription medication at various pharmacies by using fraudulent prescriptions. According to a report from the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, Lynne C. Columbus, 50, was charged with two counts of obtain or attempt to obtain controlled substance by fraud.

    Largo police have identified the pedestrian who was hit and killed in a crash on Highland Avenue Nov. 21 as Philip Scott, 80. Police responded to the crash at 10:16 p.m., in the 1600 block of Highland Avenue. According to reports, Scott was walking in the roadway when a 2002 Ford Expedition, headed north, hit him.

    A 35-year-old Clearwater man died Monday morning after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a another vehicle and crashed on Ulmerton Road. According to the report from Florida Highway Patrol, Robert Gayle Lowe IV died at the scene of the crash that occurred about 3:45 a.m. Nov. 24. Troopers said that Lowe was traveling at a high rate of speed westbound in the outside lane of Ulmerton Road as he approached Coral Way.
