    Alan Leroy Ashmore, the man accused of killing two people and the attempted murder of three others including a California Highway Patrol Officer in an October 2017 shooting spree, is expected to appear for arraignment on Tuesday, April 24. Last week, the Clearlake Oaks man, 62, was held to answer on the homicides of his father Douglas Ashmore and Richard Braden and the attempted murders of California Highway Patrol Officer Steven Patrick, Harold Noell, and Mauro Lopez. Lake County District Attorney Don Anderson shared a sequence of events of the October 23 shootings in a prepared statement.

In between, Ashmore allegedly shot and killed two men, including his father.
