Three people were injured, two seriously, in a crash on Route WW in Dunklin County late Thursday night. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 11 p.m. about five miles west of Malden. Comment?
Francisco Xavier Hernandez, 50, was charged with distribution, delivery, manufacture, produce or attempt to or possess with intent to distribute, deliver, manufacture or produce a controlled substance. According to the Clarkton Police Department, they were contacted the night before Hernandez's arrest by a concerned citizen who claimed to have seen Hernandez with a large amount of methamphetamine. 4 comments
Dunklin County Sheriff Bob Holder says his department got a call from a Clarkton resident saying there was a man in their yard on Clark Street with a gun around 5:55 p.m. When they arrived, Holder said Loughrey stepped from his vehicle and allegedly fired a gun at one of the officers. Holder said one of the officers allegedly fired back, hitting the man. Comment?
According to the Highway Patrol and the Dunklin County sheriff, Loughrey fired, and an unnamed officer fired back striking Loughrey. Heartland News reported on the story just after it happened Wednesday. Comment?
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says one of their troopers was involved in a crash on Highway 64 at Highway NN in Pemiscot County on Wednesday evening. According to the highway patrol, Joshua B. Doyle, 26, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., was driving a 2014 Dodge Charger northbound around 6:07 p.m. They say Doyle was responding to a call of shots fired and failed to negotiate a turn. Comment?
