    According to the Citronelle Police Department, officers responded to Beaver Pond shortly after receiving the call and did, in fact, find human remains. Citronelle Police Chief, Phillip Mayo said, "We responded with the city police, with their drone unit, with the fire department, and we recovered the human remains that were sent to the department of forensic science in Mobile to determine the cause of death and the matter of death."
