    Proposed changes to an ordinance that restricts the sale of alcoholic beverages in certain areas of Cibolo are on tap for the city's November general election. At its July 25 meeting, the Cibolo City Council voted 6-1 to put to a public vote an initiative that would authorize the city to grant variances to businesses whose alcoholic beverage sales don't exceed 30 percent of their gross sales.
