    A McLennan County contractor is being called a "con man" and a "crook" by several of his former clients for allegedly taking people's money for construction, carpentry, and real estate jobs without finishing them. The contractor, Matthew Curtis Monroe, 34, of China Spring, was arrested Monday night for outstanding warrants, one of which was traffic related, the other was related to a felony theft charge Monroe was indicted for in 2014.
