    The intersection of the Skyway and Bruce Road in south Chico was closed for about three hours Saturday evening due to a bomb scare. A clerk at the Valero Gas Station at that corner called Chico police just before 6:30 p.m. to say a man had walked in and said there was a bomb in his vehicle, which was parked next to a large propane tank.

According to the court filing, the suspect, who has previously been identified as 21-year-old Madeline Lynch of Chico, was driving a black Dodge Durango that had been reported stolen out of Sacramento and led officers on a chase along Honey Run Road.
