    Manuel Gomez, 26, was stopped by a Chester officer on Depot Street for a motor vehicle infraction at about 5:45 p.m. The officer found that Gomez's license was criminally suspended in Vermont and a search of the vehicle and Gomez turned up 150 bags of heroin, worth between $2,000 and $3,000 on the street, police said. Gomez was arrested and charged with possession of heroin, trafficking heroin and transportation of heroin in Vermont, in addition to the charge of driving with a suspended license.
