    The Tama County Board of Supervisors met with Ellen Young and Kathy Wieck who represented the Tama County Tourism group during the board's regular meeting on Monday, July 25. Young, of Traer, told supervisors the Tama County Tourism group was originally organized when Deb Calderwood served as the county's first Economic Development director beginning in 2001. Young told supervisors the group was run strictly by volunteers and they had 36 members who pay a membership fee every two years.
