Around 1:28 a.m., Massachusetts State Police received multiple reports of a Nissan Altima traveling southbound at 100 miles per hour or more on the northbound side of Route 3. Just a few minutes later, around 1:33 a.m., police responded to a report of a crash involving the Nissan Altima near Exit 32 in Chelmsford, police said.

    ELECTRICAL FIRE A three-alarm fire that left a multifamily Chelsea residence uninhabitable early Sunday morning was sparked by an overloaded electrical circuit, Chelsea Fire Chief Leonard Albanese said. The fire, which broke out around 12:45 a.m. Sunday, displaced eight adults and two children from a three-story home at 43 Sagamore Ave. No one was injured.
