    Chatfield's Fire Department is awaiting the construction and delivery of its new fire truck after Chatfield's City Council authorized Fire Chief Ryan Priebe to spend $25,000 more than the originally-authorized sum of $550,000 during the May 23 council meeting. Priebe related that he and others on the fire truck committee had been invited to Ocala, Fla., to shop for the features that the department wanted on its new truck which is meant to replace another rig that will be either put to use in another manner or sold and that the committee looked at approximately 50 to 60 trucks.
