To raise money for the trips, the youth group will host the Youth On Missions Rick Gosnell Memorial 17th Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 14, at Lake Junaluska Golf Course.

Daun was born Aug. 29, 1959, in Macon, Georgia, the daughter of Clelia Garrison Hand and the late Charles Albert Hand Jr. She graduated from the College of Charleston, class of 1981, where she received her B.F.A degree in music education, and got her graduate hours from Furman University, University of S.C, Duquesne University, Winthrop University, Appalachian State University and Leonard School of Music.
