    Rochester, N.Y. , grocer Wegmans has announced plans to open a store in Chapel Hill, according to a shared release from the company and the governments of Chapel Hill and Orange County. Wegmans, which has 91 stores from New York to Virginia , selected a 14-acre site on U.S. 15-501 that is currently home to Performance AutoMall, which is scheduled to close in July 2017, according to the town of Chapel Hill.
