No structures have been threatened, but the fire is burning downed trees and juniper brush in steep terrain with limited firefighter access, the release stated.

    Washington a President Barack Obama on Friday appointed two Utahns to the Utah Reclamation Mitigation and Conservation Commission, which is charged with completing the Central Utah Project to bring water from the Uinta Mountains to the Wasatch Front. Obama named Robert L. Morgan and Gene Shawcroft to the commission, which was authorized by the Central Utah Project Completion Act of 1992.
