    November 21, 2018 - Suffolk County Police today arrested a man for stabbing two dogs, one fatally at his home in Brentwood on Tuesday, November, 20. While investigating a domestic dispute involving a man and his girlfriend, Third Precinct Patrol officers and Detective Jen Pape of the Suffolk County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals discovered two dogs stabbed at a residence on Freeman Ave., at approximately 5:30 a.m. The investigation revealed Malik Fields, 25, stabbed his family pet pit bull dogs, Storm and Chocolate, between 4 and 5 a.m. Storm, 1, died from his injuries. Chocolate was transported to the Animal Medical Hospital of Centereach, where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

After an investigation by detectives and with help from the public, the male, 17, of Mount Sinai , was arrested today and charged with Making Graffiti.

Sixth Precinct officers responded to a 911 report of two injured people in a car at 238 N. Washington Ave. at approximately 8:00 p.m. on September 11. When officers arrived they found woman in the driver's seat of a 2014 Kia Soul with a gunshot wound to the head and a man in the passenger's seat with a gunshot wound to the head. A firearm was recovered inside the vehicle.

Both drivers were outside of their vehicles when a 2013 Ford sedan, driven by Desirea Coyle, struck the rear of the Honda. The Honda then struck the BMW and Robitaille.

He then vandalized the vehicle by pouring bleach on it.
