    August 17, 2018 - Suffolk County Police arrested a Centereach teen for possessing a weapon at Centereach High School on Thursday, August 16, 2018. A coach at a sporting practice at Centereach High School saw a male walking on school grounds with what appeared to be a gun and called 911 at approximately 8:30 a.m. Sixth Precinct officers responded and located the teen nearby and found him to be in possession of a BB gun.
