    An investigation is underway after a deadly house fire in the 6000 block of Dewey Heights Road in Clay on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017.( Center Point firefighters and Jefferson County sheriff's deputies responded to the home in the 6000 block of Dewey Heights Road in Clay at 2:50 a.m. Battalion Chief Brad Appleton said they were called by neighbors who spotted flames coming from the home. Once on the scene, firefighters battled the blaze for about 30 minutes before they were able to make entry and find the victim.
