    A crash Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, in Northampton killed one driver and critically injured another who was under the influence of drugs, Southampton Town police said. Brandon McKee, 24, of Center Moriches, crossed the double-yellow lines on northbound Lake Avenue, causing his Toyota to sideswipe a southbound sport utility vehicle and slam head-on into a Nissan.

    A 26-year-old woman is dead and a 24-year-old man accused of driving while on drugs is in critical condition following a three-vehicle crash in Northampton Friday afternoon. According to Southampton Town Police, Brandon McKee, of Center Moriches, was driving a 2008 Toyota Scion north on Lake Avenue when he crossed over the double yellow line into the southbound lane of traffic, sideswiping a GMC SUV with two occupants and then hitting a 2009 white Nissan Altima head-on around 2:23 p.m. The driver of the Nissan, Courtney Pivirotto, of Eastport, was pronounced dead on the scene.
