Police said Shaun M. Bohn, 26, of 310 South James St., upper apartment, yelled, threw clothes and broke items in front of two girls, ages 4 and 5. He also allegedly took a cell phone from Brittany L. Beutel as she tried to call police for help and hung up the call.

    Alexandria Street from North Clinton to Francis in Carthage will be closed starting Monday for a couple of days while a dangerous tree is removed from 602 Alexandria St. Michael Boliver of Eager Beaver Tree Service, Croghan, said because of the height of the tree and close proximity to power lines they are proceeding slowly to take down the tree piece by piece. Mr. Boliver noted the chipped wood would be recycled used as a power source for the co-generation plant on Fort Drum.
